Paddle with Purpose.

PACT is a team of paddlers with a passion for Outdoor & Experiential Education (OEE), Canadian history and the natural landscapes and waterways that connect our beautiful country. The team paddled and portaged over 5000 km from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, to Lachine Quebec, in a traditional 25' voyageur canoe. It was the adventure of a lifetime.

All PACT crew members have dedicated their lives to Outdoor & Experiential Education and this project was no exception. Some of the best OEE work is happening right in your backyard, run by volunteers and not-for-profits. PACT wants to highlight the opportunities that you, or someone you know could benefit from. PACT is proud to stand in Partnership with the following not-for-profit, charitable OEE organizations, who embody the values and beliefs of the paddlers. PACT believes in the importance of the unique opportunities these outstanding organizations provide their respective communities. Please take some time to explore what good works they have to offer.
PACT is proud to have donated to the following good work initiatives.

Be More, Need Less.
The p.i.n.e. project’s mission is to build healthy communities, deeply connected to the natural environment. p.i.n.e. brings the wonders of the natural world, back into the urban jungle.

Outdoor & Experiential Education is a way to connect simultaneously with people, the environment, and active learning. It involves direct, hands on, experiences that can be shared by a group or taken on individually. OEE involves education for Environment, Character, Curriculum, and Well Being. PACT wholeheartedly believes in the powerful and lasting value of OEE and seeks to raise its profile in Canada.
